So today I received the autograph of one of my favourite authors..

I’ve never really understood autographs. What is so enjoyable about someone’s signature? A picture, I understand. Capturing a moment with somebody you admire but a signature just seems so impersonal to me.

I am a huge fan of John Green. I have read all of his work to date and decided to preorder The Fault in Our Stars months ago so I could read it the day it was on sale. The book was fantastic. I laughed and cried and the story was brilliantly written and touching in so many ways..

Long story short, I had no idea that preordering this amazing novel meant that I would receive a signature but now that I have it.. I can see the appeal.

Something so small that connects me to some I admire so much.

The book was also the best he has written to date. I pray that he hasn’t peaked but I could reread his work all day long. I highly recommend picking up some of his work!
